IN-GAME RULES - MinePiece

Here are the in-game rules of the server. These rules are considered read and approved once connected to the server.

Act I - The Players

Responsibilities

• You are entirely responsible for your Minecraft account and password. It is forbidden to give or lend your account and password to a third party. We do not take any responsibility if someone other than you logs into it. If a rule is not respected by your account, even if it is not you who is using it, an appropriate sanction will be put in place.
• Inappropriate usernames and skins (racist, insulting, political, homophobic, etc.) are not accepted.
• We do not support account transfers.

The Discord

• MinePiece has a Discord server, where a wealth of information is available to you! You will find both voice and text support there. You can share great moments with our community. You can join the Discord by clicking here.

Refunds

• For any refund, please open a ticket.
• If you provide sufficient evidence, a refund will be made.
• We only refund for losses related to a server issue and not due to your negligence.
• Tip: Regularly take screenshots of your island, inventory, or other important chests.

Island Alliances

• Any form of alliance between islands is prohibited if it aims to advance you in the island ranking (this includes island level items of the month, money, as well as any other item allowing to propel an island in the ranking). Any abuse of this will be penalized.
• Your team can have multiple islands if, and only if, these islands operate independently of each other. It is forbidden to use this island to circumvent limits (Hoppers, players etc) on your secondary island.

Act II - Gameplay

Player Interactions

• All interactions between players must be conducted with respect.
• Scams, looting, and theft are prohibited on MinePiece.
• If the evidence is sufficient, the guilty party will be penalized and the other player will be reimbursed.
• It is forbidden to join/visit an island, or to use any type of hack, bug, or prohibited software with the aim of copying the farms already present on it. This includes copying a farm and changing it a bit once built on your own island.

Theft & Looting

Here is a non-exhaustive list of actions considered as theft & looting on the server:

• Retrieving items or schematics on an island before leaving it without prior agreement with its leader.

Gambling

• The only gambling games allowed on MinePiece are casinos and mystery spawners.
• If there is doubt about the reliability of a casino, it is possible to ask a Moderator to check it.
• The maximum price of a mystery spawner must not exceed the /shop price of the best spawner obtainable.

Prohibited Actions

Here is a non-exhaustive list of actions prohibited on the server:

• Anti-Afk (water circuits, Auto-Jump...)
• Autofishing is prohibited. You may build machines to fish, as long as you are physically clicking to use them.
• Selling items for real money or for gems.
• It is forbidden to set homes on rival islands without the agreement of the island's members.
• TP-kill is prohibited, as well as any kill outside of PvP zones.
• It is forbidden to exploit bugs in blocks at MarineFord.
• Any bounty trading is strictly prohibited. This includes the abusive use of a third-party account to increase one’s bounty.
• The sale of cosmetics, fake keys, disenchanted exclusive items, shulkers containing banned items for sale, empty mystery boxes, expired contracts, or expired sales dials is prohibited. This includes selling mystery boxes that exceed the average sell price on /ah for the items inside the box.
• Listing items renamed to inappropriate names on the auction house is prohibited.
• Listing items renamed to different item names, either as a joke or as an attempt to mislead/scam players is prohibited. 
• It is forbidden to use your devil fruit on other players in adventure zones.

Redstone

• Try to use redstone within reasonable limits.
• Avoid too rapid systems/clocks.
• "0-tick" factories and flying machines in the void are prohibited.
• Non-compliance with these rules will result in the removal of the factory/machine without any possible reimbursement.
• Intentionally lagging or crashing the server will result in a ban.

Authorized Mods

Here is a non-exhaustive list of mods authorized on the server:

• Optifine / Minimap (without ability to see other players) / ReplayMod (Record)
• LabyMod / Lunar Client / Badlion Client
• Toggle Sneak / Toggle Sprint
• Schematica / Litematica (without Printer/easy place mode)
• Mouse Tweaks
• Inventory Profiles Next
• Chest Tracker
• Item Borders

If a mod does not appear on this list, ask for Staff approval.

Prohibited Mods

Here is a non-exhaustive list of mods prohibited on the server:

• X-Ray
• FlyMod
• Autoclick / AutoJump
• AutoTools
• FreeCam
• Neat (or other mods that allow you to see other players' health bars)

In general, any mods that give any kind of in-game advantage are not tolerated.

AFK

• AFK is allowed on the server in designated areas.
• AFK checks are regularly carried out by Moderators, any failure to comply with them is subject to punishments.
• It is also prohibited to circumvent the anti-afk, under penalty of punishment.

Multiple Accounts

• On the server, you are allowed to have one alternate account. The limit is set to 1 alternate account.
• Using alternate accounts during events is prohibited.
• You are not allowed to evade punishments in any way, or you will receive the original punishment x2.
• For any Brother / Sister connections, please make a ticket on Discord.
• It is forbidden to vote for the server with two different accounts.

Cheating and Exploiting Bugs

• Exploiting bugs and cheating are prohibited on the server.
• Any mod or external software providing an advantage is also forbidden.
• Macros, autoclick, autosell, etc., are not permitted in the game.
• Furthermore, using a key other than the click or a means to block the click for hitting mobs or placing blocks is totally forbidden.
• In general, any exploits providing any in-game advantage are not tolerated.

PVP, Duels, MarineFord

• Disconnecting and teleporting in combat are prohibited.
• Lying about your equipment for a /duel is prohibited.
• Using any means to flee a fight (disconnecting, ender pearls, etc) is prohibited.
• Alliances between members of different islands are prohibited in PvP.
• Exploiting bugs is forbidden and the staff reserves the right to choose the appropriate punishment duration depending on the exploit.
• Returning to a safe zone during a fight is prohibited.
• Using any teleportation commands (/back, /tpa, /tpahere...) to go to or return to a combat site is prohibited.
• It is forbidden to use your devil fruit outside of PvP zones to kill other players.

 

Act III - Chat

General Rules

• The chat is a space for free exchange.
• You must be appropriate in your messages and behavior.
• Any non-receivable contestation of a punishment will lead to a doubling (or more) of your punishment.
• Impersonating staff or "mini-modding" is not allowed.
• You are not allowed to evade punishments in any way, or you will receive the original punishment x2.

Types of Messages

Here is a non-exhaustive list of inappropriate messages on the server:

• Provocations, Insults
• Racist, homophobic, religious, political remarks (this includes the use of racist / discriminatory language as slang)
• Sexual harassment or sexual misconduct with a minor (anyone under the age of 18 is considered a minor)
• Trolling, Obscene messages
• Spam (several messages in a row)
• Flood (repeating the same character: "mdrrrrrrrrrrrr")
• Begging (requesting items, money...)

Threats, harassment, and disclosure of private information are prohibited on the server.

Different Platforms

• Messages written in public, in private messages, in IS chat, or on signs are subject to punishments if they do not respect the server's rules.

Advertising

• It is forbidden to advertise against MinePiece or other Rivrs servers.
• Thus, promoting a competing server or mentioning a server is forbidden.
• Advertising your own content (Youtube videos, Twitch channel, etc.) is prohibited on the server, unless you have the Youtuber, Streamer, or Partner rank.
• Each advertisement, whatever it may be, must be spaced out by 10 minutes between each message (pwarp, item sale, event announcement).
• For a pwarp ad, you must wait 10 minutes per island to help streamline the chat.

 

Staff Not Present

• If you witness an infraction, do not hesitate to send a screenshot in a ticket on Discord.
• Make sure you have complete screenshots with context.
• Any abuse of reporting, or modified screenshots will be punished.

• If you need a reimbursement or to report a person, make a ticket on our Discord.
• Please do not DM staff members on Discord when you need assistance. To better assist you, we ask that you open a support ticket in the Discord. If the matter is private, you can request to make your ticket only viewable by upper management.
